Last day of Filming for OPERATION TROPICAL STORMY!

What is looking to be the biggest adult movie of 2009, Operation Tropical Stormy begins it’s last day of filming today. Directed by recent F.A.M.E . Award winner for Favorite Director, Miss Stormy Daniels, OTS has been filming experience. I have been on set nearly all of the time to witness this several day shoot that took place all over the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles and Hawaii.

Rude TV will Show The F.A.M.E. Awards Tomorrow Night!

Did you miss The F.A.M.E. Awards last week? If you did, no worries as Sunday June 15th @ 6pm (PDT) RudeTv.com will present the awards for your viewing pleasure!

I didn’t get to actually watch the show when I was there, I was backstage the whole time, accompanying the stars to the press room and interviews, so I’ll be watching. I heard when Brooke Haven won her Favorite Underrated Starlet Award she thanked me that’s something I’d like to see.

The Biggest Stars in Adult Aligned to Light Up the Night for the Industry’s Only Fan-Based Awards Show

LOS ANGELES —The fans have spoken! And on Saturday, June 7th at Erotica LA, a star-studded who’s who of adult entertainment got to hear what they said at the 2008 F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) Awards.

Following a packed red carpet, adult superstars Jesse Jane and Randy Spears hosted the third annual event. The blonde Digital Playground superstar and the Wicked Pictures legend worked like a dynamic duo, keeping things moving and entertaining the crowd. Jesse’s energy and Randy’s delivery helped usher in a list of presenters that included Tera Patrick, Stormy Daniels, Belladonna, Sasha Grey, Evan Stone, Gianna Lynn, Brooke Haven, Ron Jeremy, Michelle Maylene, Evan Seinfeld, Amber Lynn, Nick Manning, Nicki Hunter, Tommy Gunn and more announced read off the names of the nominees and winners to a very receptive crowd.

This year’s F.A.M.E. Awards received over 104,000 online votes at their official website, www.TheFAMEAwards.com. “This is the only truly interactive adult awards event that exists,” explains F.A.M.E. co-founder Dan Davis, Editor in Chief of Genesis Magazine. “Ultimately, the fans are the ones who buy the product and determine the next big ‘it’ girl or niche. The F.A.M.E. Awards recognize that and provide a forum — from choosing finalists to selecting winners — as a way of honoring that.”

With a number of surprise guests, including mainstream movie stars Jamie Kennedy (Malibu’s Most Wanted) and Matthew Davis (Legally Blonde) who filmed a segment for their upcoming independent film Finding Bliss (which also stars Leelee Sobieski, Kristen Johnson and Denise Richards) on the F.A.M.E. red carpet, with Stormy Daniels, Ron Jeremy, Jesse Jane, Evan Stone, Mr. Marcus, Sasha Grey, Belladonna, Wankus and others, this year’s awards show reached record attendance. The stars and industry VIPs packed the seats and hundreds of fans and representatives of the media stood around them to witness a show that was indeed bigger and better as it was billed.

The list of those who were in attendance was a virtual a roll call of the adult industry. The stars who were there also included Tera Patrick, Jessica Drake, Jenna Haze, Eva Angelina, Gina Lynn, Stoya, Shay Jordan, Bobbi Starr, Sunny Leone, Tory Lane, Ashlynn Brooke, Nina Mercedez, Taylor Wane, Justine Joli, Monica Mayhem, Sunny Lane, Joanna Angel, Ava Rose, Marie Luv, Tory Lane, Jenna Haze, Kayden Kross, Ava Rose, and many more, including the first public appearances for new Digital Playground contract girls Riley Steele and Gabriella Fox . Those behind the cameras were also on hand, such as director/producers Jules Jordan, Will Ryder, Cousin Stevie, Eli Cross, Brad Armstrong and Lexington Steele, as well as others who make the adult world go ’round such as AVN’s Paul Fishbein, Vivid’s Steve Hirsch, Wicked’s Steve Orenstein, Digital Playground’s Samantha Lewis, Hustler’s Michael Klein and many more.

One of the new twists to this year’s show was the introduction of the “Fan’s First Look” which is where some of the biggest producers unveiled their trailers for their upcoming blockbusters. Brad Armstrong and Jessica Drake their latest epic Fallen, Jesse Jane gave the Erotica LA crowd a peek at Pirates II, while Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld introduced their upcoming all-sex comedy, Tera Goes Gonzo. Also being shown for the first time were trailers for Vivid’s Cry Wolf starring Mr. Marcus and Monique Alexander; Eli Cross’ slick show for SexZ Pictures entitled ICON, starring Hillary Scott; Will Ryder and X-Play’s surefire hit parody, Not Bewitched XXX which stars Jenna Haze and Teagan Presley; and the Adam & Eve/Zero Tolerance co-production on skates, Roller Dollz. All of these movies will be in under consideration for the 2009 F.A.M.E. Awards.

Paul Fishbein and Michelle Maylene presented Vivid’s Steve Hirsch with a special AVN Award for “Best Renting Title of the Year” for Debbie Does Dallas… Again, as a camera crew captured the action for the second season of Vivid’s reality show. Hirsch reminded everyone why we were all there, and that is to support the world of adult films.

From the first award given out to Ashlynn Brooke for “Favorite Breasts” as voted on by the fans, to the last for their “Favorite Male Star” and “Favorite Female Star” — Evan Stone and Tera Patrick, who also received a Movado watch with a blue diamond and a Tiffany’s pearl necklace — the night was filled with appreciative speeches, lots of fun and laughs, and even some tears of joy from the winners.

Davis summed things up by saying, “We want to thank all of the stars, studios and media who continue to support this huge undertaking every year. Most of all we want to thank our sponsors — MyCams.com, RudeTV.com, Pink Visual, Erotica LA and HotMovies — and all of the fans who helped make this year’s F.A.M.E. Awards our most successful to date.”

The New Queen of X, or rather should we just cut out the nonsense and call her Our Queen of Mainstream Media? Because it’s seems like miss Stormy Daniels is conquering all. How many other adult stars can boast some of the mainstream accomplishments that she has?

Stormy is appearing in mega mainstream movies that are being sold in places like Wal-Mart & Amazon. Stormy has posters and calendars in malls across the country.  Stormy is trading barbs with Peter Guber and Peter Bart on AMC's Shootout, when a lot of porn chix can’t even spell “Shootout” (but then Stormy is like no other) and now, Stormy Daniels is blogging on IFC.com. 

For those not  in the know, IFC is Independent Film Channel, now do you see how important that is?  This is bigger than big. It’s not every day that an adult star has been taken seriously and placed on the same equal footing as mainstream stars, directors, musicians and the like. You gotta give the girl props.

EXXXOTICA - MIAMI BEACH 2008 Sets Record Numbers!

THIRD YEAR IS A RECORD-BREAKING CHARM FOR THE LARGEST CONSUMER ADULT SHOW ON THE EAST COAST!

(Miami, FL) EXXXOTICA Miami Beach 2008 (presented by HotMovies.com) wrapped up its third year this weekend, and with the counts in, organizers are thrilled to announce that this was their biggest year ever.

This year's show, which ran at the Miami Beach Convention Center in South Beach from Friday, April 18th to Sunday, April 20th, saw over 22,000 fans of the adult industry pack into the show. Each day of the three-day adult consumer show showed growth and improvement from the numbers of the past two years, with an overall increase of attendees of close to 30% from last year's numbers.

Highlights of the show included the show's massive "Fantasy Island" booth which was sponsored by Genesis Magazine, and that hosted such adult stars as Jesse Jane®, Stormy Daniels®, Jenna Haze, Eva Angelina, Bree Olson, Kayden Kross, Roxy DeVille, Moxxie Maddron, Joanna Angel, Nautica Thorn, Lisa Sparxxx and Donna Doll. Many of the stars completely sold out of their DVDs and photos that the fans lined up to purchase from a virtual who's who of porn. 

"There's nothing I enjoy more than meeting my fans and EXXXOTICA Miami brought in thousands of them," Jesse Jane said about the event. "It was one of the best shows ever and I will definitely be back next year.  Thank you to the show's organizers, Genesis, who sponsored the booth, and everyone who came out to meet me. I love y'all."

"I personally have to give a shout out to everyone that made this event happen," said Eva Angelina. "I had a lot of fun, the fans were great to me as always, it was a positive experience and I'd love to do it all again."

Other stars exhibiting and attending the show included the always-stunning fan favorite Tera Patrick, who brought along gal pals Sasha Grey and Charmane Star. Gina Lynn was signing at a booth for her production company and Belladonna was signing at the Evil Angel booth much to the delight of the Miami Beach crowd. And IVD's Girls Gone Wild booth featured visits from Brianna Love, Roxy Reynolds, Persia, Shayla Hayes and Carmen Hayes. Also seen in attendance were such stars as Tommy Gunn, Lee Stone, Ashlynn Brooke, Lexi Love, Zoe Britton, Nikki Rhodes and Lexi Lamour.

It was also shown that stars come in all shapes and sizes, and two of the stars weren't even in the human form. Gina Lynn's Monster Truck attracted a ton of fans, as did the infamous Bang Bus, which left the show floor with its newest star ready to shoot an EXXXOTICA Miami scene.

Bang Brothers weren't the only new exhibitors to this year's show who were thrilled with the turnout. Other major first time exhibitors included Evil Angel and distribution giants, IVD who were promoting their various lines. For those who had attended the show in the prior two years, they were equally excited about the turnout this year.

"This was our second year attending and exhibiting at EXXXOTICA and it was easily the best," said Dan Davis, Editor of Genesis Magazine. "Our 'Fantasy Island' booth had non-stop lines and we feel that we not only gained new readers for our magazine, but also were able to solidify business relationships as well." 

Fans enjoyed a non-stop schedule of excitement which included the Pillow Fight League, Tattoo Alley, the Ms. EXXXOTICA pageant, dance shows, professional wrestling matches, and an all-star panel of adult's biggest names answering questions from audience members. The show also included the first-ever Ammy Awards which celebrated amateur submissions to XTube.com and was hosted by Gina Lynn and Travis Knight.

J. Handy of Victory Tradeshow Management, who are the producers of EXXXOTICA Miami Beach, summed the weekend up best. "We are here to celebrate sexy, and that's exactly what the show does. We are ecstatic our exhibitors and attendees had an amazing time at this year's show and we can only promise to improve and grow for many years to come."
