Three Thousand MONSTAR Readers can’t be Wrong

Over on Luke’s website he posted Alexa ratings of several websites. Mine included. ContactPornStars.com was ranked as the lowest.

And actually far, far behind the next highest.

Well Let’s be fair about this. If you were to bookmark my site, you would be book marking  “http://contactpornstars.blogs.com/”  as oppose to “ContactPornStars.com” (look in your browser. I speaketh the truth)

Now look that up in your beloved Alexa Ratings.

All of a sudden that 3,857,032 becomes 248,698 (meaning, my site is ranked a lot higher)

Wow. What a fucking change. Whatever. After reading the next passage, my lack of caring about the Alexa ratings lessens.

Alexa rankings have little to do with traffic or actual hits. The only measure they have is thru sites that have alexa toolbars (that report back to alexa) or sites with alexa toolbars that link to other sites that may or may not have the toolbars but the originating site reports, to alexa. Alexa measures the click-thrus from one alexa site to another alexa or non-alexa site.

Personally I do not have an alexa toolbar….

The only way anyone knows what the traffic is to your site or my site is by reading the site logs... which alexa has no access to.

According to my site log yesterday, my site had 3,054 hits.

Over 3K of you fuckers checked in on my site in a 24 hour period. To me that rawx.

The joint ain’t even 2 years old yet and to have on a given Monday, three thousand heads check out what I wrote, My party re-caps, My DVD picks, My posts…

Say whatever you will, add me to what ever bottom of whatever list, but at the end of the day,  some fuckers are reading this site…
